ONBOARDING SPECIALIST

Position Summary:

The iDMS Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the implementation and onboarding of new iDMS customers. This includes the core application as well as the additional products/features. The iDMS OS will be the main point of contact for the customer during the onboarding process and will direct the customer and internal teams on needs of the implementation.  The iDMS OS will ensure the customer’s success on the product by coordinating system default setups, data and accounting checks, forms needs, and training.  The purpose of this role is to ensure a smooth transition to iDMS during the implementation period. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete complex tasks related to the initial set-up and build out of iDMS
  • Manage the project from initial set-up to installation and document project progress
  • Perform transitions calls with new customers and sales representative
  • Guide the customer to adhere to product best practices in the configuration of their products
  • Gather, develop, and document build requirements based on the customer’s specifications
  • Ensure customer is engaging with their Implementation Consultant on training
  • Coordinate with customer and internal teams to ensure all build timelines are met
  • Coordinate and conduct handoff to IC upon completion of all setup tasks 
  • Work independently under general supervision with minimal directions 
  • And other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ Years of experience working directly with customers
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or 4+ years equivalent experience/training)
  • Experience presenting both to groups and one-on-one
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to communicate effectively over the phone
  • High level of detail needed as well as good organizational skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  •  Experience in the automotive industry
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
  •  1+ years of experience managing projects
  •  Experience with Salesforce
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Demands:

Typically requires sitting, speaking, and computer use for extended periods of time.
