As Team DealerSocket gets ready for our 14th (ish) NADA as an exhibitor, we reminisce over NADAs past in the Crescent City. We remember all the powdered sugar that’s fallen from the hundreds of beignets we’ve devoured over the years, the last show in Nawlins’ when the crew had to scramble to escape the South’s edition of the polar vortex. From stranded sales reps to unplanned road trips to the Houston airport and even a rental car/stolen vehicle mishap (don’t worry, we were driving the rental car, not the stolen vehicle), NADA 2014 was anything but boring. So here we are, three years later, getting ready again for the big show. Besides expecting the unexpected, here are a few things NADA attendees can count on from DealerSocket Booths #937 and #1137.
Whoever tells you size doesn’t matter is lying! The bigger the booth, the better it is. There are more places to sit, more beverages to drink, more products to demo, and more super-massive LED displays to lay eyes on. This year we are planning for all the above in two different booth spaces. Our VIP lounge, more fittingly known as the Rex Lounge this year, is a place for our current customers to relax, recharge, refresh, and get showered by a VIP swag bag filled with the best DS-branded gear of the year. In addition, customers can score one-on-one time with the friendly DS staff to talk about their account and see our latest innovations.
For guests that aren’t currently on our product, they get to experience DealerSocket for the first time. Our new customer-experience lounge will delight them with our technology and our most charming sales reps. Those who pre-schedule a demo prior to the show will be able to collect a very special gift once their demo is complete.
In 2016, we released the greatest product in DealerSocket history. The new DealerSocket CRM powered by Blackbird was launched in October to great success. We re-built it from the ground up alongside our brand-new DMS product for the independent/BHPH space. Despite all the praise we’ve received so far, we are by no means slowing our pace. We’re continuing to integrate the different technologies in our platform to bring to market the best tools for our dealers. We will be debuting our new digital retailing product — name yet to be revealed — at NADA. We integrated our desking tool into our DealerFire website technology so that visitors on the dealership’s website can begin working a deal on an in-stock vehicle. Consumers want full transparency. Give it to them!
